Dear father, my mother has been moved into her new residence. At 95 years old, she is still fairly sharp, mentally, physically debilitated. Last night she fell out of bed. Thanks and praise for the fact that she had her alarm on her and they came and got her up.
She has gone downhill, physically, and is relying on my sister and me for her immediate care, though she is in this good facility.
I am going, today, to arrange for the local parish to send priest to her and bring the sacraments, if possible.
It is so strange to be caring for her who cared for me so well. Please pray that I’ve been up to the challenge, in my family as well.
I know you love her and let her feel your love and care.
