Dear God,
May you welcome my prayers for our friend, BY, who passed away this Sunday afternoon. Thank you for allowing him to return home on Friday and be with his wife and son. JY could not see her husband during Christmas season due to lockdown rules in care homes. He was, and she still is our good friend. They visited my beloved late partner many times during his illness. May you sustain their strength to cope with the pain of losing him. May you please also sustain mine and so many other people’s capacity to pray while we continously lose more family and friends. Our hearts ache each time.
